Baby Photography - Newborn Session

This little newborn was an adorable tiny little bean to photograph.  Practically perfect in every way!  Blink of an Eye Photography specializes in Baby Photography and Newborns are indeed our specialty.  

Natural light sessions yield a softness to portraits that can rarely be duplicated in any other way.  We often encourage parents to come in for a complimentary consultation session prior to their actual photography session.  With this little man we had many different ideas we wanted to incorporate.  Most importantly to dad was his love of the Montreal Canadiens!  Newborn photography can offer many beautiful and different opportunities to showcase and feature the tiny details of your little one.

Newborn Photography - Little Man "T" - One Month Old

Yesterday little man "T" came into the studio to have his one month/newborn photos taken.  Normally it is strongly recommended that you plan to bring your newborn baby in for their first photo session between 5-12 days new.  This will allow us to capture those adorable and highly sought after sleepy baby poses many are looking for.

Little T was came into the world 3 weeks early, so it was understandably more difficult for him to come in so early for his first appointment with the camera!  Regardless of age, mom and I worked together and had a lot of fun with this sweet little guy.

We had many alert and wide eyed moments to capture (including first actual smile at his mommy!) but eventually he succumbed to his tired eyes and we were able to snap some beautiful poses of him!

If you are looking for newborn photos, I am a CAPPA trained Postpartum Doula and do offer a huge amount of experience not only with my camera, but also in how to handle, soothe and read your new baby's signals.

Sweet Little Angel "M" - Newborn Session

This little Angel and her family came in this past weekend to capture some of her early newborn moments with Blink of an Eye Photography.

I have been photographing them for several years now and watched her big sister grow from a toddler into a "big" girl.

Her tiny six day old little baby sister proved to be every bit as adorable and as angelic as could be!  Here are just a few of my favourites from our session.  (it was very hard to narrow it down to just these few).

In the midst of the cold fall weather, a little ray of sunshine popped into the studio today!  Meet sweet little Mr. S.  I photographed his big sister when she was just a wee-one as well.  This little man was super snuggly and once we got him good and sleepy he was an absolute dream to photograph as well!

LOVE everything about newborns and this family!  Thank you so much for such a wonderful session today xo
