But what is a true "lifestyle" session?

For this family, baking together is an important part of their weekly (and sometimes daily) routine. As time passes on and children grow, it's these every day moments that will form a strong baseline of cherished memories for years to come.

Traditions and routines make up our every day lives and often only get recalled through conversations and memories.   Why not document your special family moments with a true lifestyle session in black and white.  The emotions are real.  The settings are real.   There is no posing; only story telling.

From now until April 30th, 2016 we will be offering in home (and outdoor) lifestyle sessions at an introductory price.  One Hour.  25 Images.  $299 + HST.

Fall Family Session

One of the most beautiful times of the year is when the leaves are all changing colours!  In this neck of the woods that time is almost done.  It is in fact our busiest time of the year as well...I joke that if we were accountants, this time of year would be considered the "tax season" for photographers!  LOL!  Regardless it is a time when families all focus on getting together in groupings both big and small to have milestones captured and memorializing the growth of each generation added on.

This family was in a few weeks ago and have just recently added the sweetest little man into their lives!  Here are a few of my favourites from their session.

Newborn Session - Sweet Baby Love

Another sweet little man in the studio yesterday!  He was as easy going as they come...but he did not want to close his eyes!  LOL!  There was just too much going on in the world for this little man to watch!

A little bit of patience and some great fun together with this family and we did catch some beautiful moments with this gorgeous family xoxo

Family Session - A little Sisterly love....

These two beautiful ladies and I have been trying to co-ordinate schedules for almost 6 months now!  I was thrilled when we were finally able to make it work on a slightly overcast day with a dusting of snow thrown in just for beauty and fun!

I truly forgot just how much I enjoy working with adults.  While my heart still remains with the wee ones,  I really enjoyed this session a lot!

We laughed, smiled and shivered our way through this late fall/winter session.  Capturing their sisterly sentiments was a blast.

Family Session - Fall Family Photos

The weather is definitely changing quickly here in Milton, Ontario!   It seems that as soon as Halloween said farewell, the winds changed and in came the cold frosty air with quite a bit of enthusiasm.  That didn't stop this sweet family from coming out to capture their group with the last of the fall leaves as their backdrop.

They were absolutely wonderful to work with and the little ones that had their photos taken were too sweet for words..truly!

One rainy fall day...

It was a cold, rainy and damp day.  Yet off we went to one of my favourite (special) spots to photograph only a select few sets of families.  This particular location is where I was married to my love over 16 years ago and had our reception and photos taken.   When I received this special request for this photo session I knew it had to be here :)

I love this family to the moon and back...quite literally.  Every photo has just a little spark of emotion and tenderness that can't be missed.
